Rau de Mori
Romania
Pocket-sized commune at the foot of the Retezat Mountains in Transylvania's Hunedoara County, Râu de Mori sits alongside the Râul Mare river and its tributaries, with the Gura Apelor Dam forming a reservoir nearby. The surrounding Țara Hațegului region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites, and the Retezat Mountains make this a base for mountain access in southwestern Transylvania.
