Llangynfelyn
TLL41 · United Kingdom
This compact Welsh community in Ceredigion sits where the Leri estuary meets the lower slopes of mountain terrain, stretching inland toward Moel y Llyn between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth. The area includes the villages of Tre'r Ddôl and Tre Taliesin, and the beach at the Dyfi estuary — Traeth Maelgwn — is traditionally the site where Maelgwn Gwynedd was chosen as chief king of Wales.
