This pocket-sized seaside village on Istria's western coast, Vrsar has a café and restaurant scene that outpunches its size, a historic hilltop centre with the St. Martin parish church and its tall bell tower, and vineyards in the surrounding countryside. Just offshore lies an archipelago of 18 uninhabited islands. The village is also home to Koversada, the oldest naturist campsite in Istria, and a modern marina makes it a practical base for exploring the wider region.
