Uccle
Belgium
One of the greener municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region, Uccle occupies the southern edge of the Belgian capital and includes part of the Sonian Forest on its territory. The Royal Meteorological Institute, the Royal Observatory of Belgium, and the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy all sit within the municipality. Generally considered an affluent area, it is also noted for its community of French immigrants and its bilingual French-Dutch character.
