The Tomb of the Prophet Habakkuk draws visitors to this city in Iran's Hamadan province — a mausoleum revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike as the resting place of the biblical prophet who served in the Temple of Solomon around 700 BCE. The city lies south of Mount Alvand and is also known for its walnut trees, with mountains close by and several UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region.
