Tiny village in the Aude department of southern France, Saissac sits within the Montagne Noire — the southern edge of the Massif Central — with views toward the mountains and several rivers and streams running through its territory. The village holds three protected historic monuments: a standing stone, a medieval castle, and ramparts.
