Porto de Mós, a small town in Portugal's Leiria region, sits at the edge of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, with scenic surroundings, vineyards nearby, and a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size. The municipality includes the site of the 1385 Battle of Aljubarrota — decisive for Portuguese independence — now marked by an interpretation centre, and the Mira de Aire Cave system carved into the mountains.
