Panagia
Θάσος, Καβάλα · Greece
A hillside village on the Greek island of Thasos, Panagia sits above its coastal resort of Skala Panagia — known in English as Golden Beach — with freshwater fountains fed by a stream from Mount Ipsarion running through its traditional stone streets. The village has a disproportionate number of churches for its size, a compact café and restaurant scene, and scenic views over the surrounding terrain.
