Limenaria

Waterfront village on the southern end of the Greek island of Thasos, Limenaria has drawn summer visitors since the 1960s. Stelakis Beach stretches along the settlement, with smaller coves and pebbly beaches nearby, and on clear days the Holy Site of Mount Athos is visible from the shore. The village also holds a folklore museum run by the local cultural association, and its cafés and restaurants punch above their weight for a settlement of this size.
