Malbuisson

Doubs · France

A small village on the shore of Lac de Saint-Point in the Doubs department of eastern France, Malbuisson sits between the water and forest at around 900 metres elevation. It has a modest but real café and restaurant scene for its size, and the wider Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites. The village drew tourists from the early 20th century after a railway line opened between Pontarlier and Foncine, and it was classified as a climatic resort.
