Known since Celtic times for its hot springs, Luxeuil-les-Bains is a pocket-sized spa town in Haute-Saône, eastern France, where thermal bathing has shaped the town's identity for centuries. Its Renaissance-era architectural heritage is substantial for its size, and the town is also associated with the 6th-century monk Columbanus, who evangelised the region. Local specialities, lace-making, and a café and restaurant scene round out what the town offers visitors.
