This modest village in the Gers department of southwestern France, Lavardens holds membership in the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France association and sits in a cereal-growing and wine-producing area of the Pays d'Auch. Two listed monuments anchor its architectural heritage: the church of Saint-Michel, classified in 1960, and the château, classified in 1961.
