This tiny walled hamlet in the Gers department of southwestern France holds six nationally protected historic monuments within its medieval fortifications, including a classified castle, the church of Saint-Sigismond, and a 13th-century defensive enclosure. Set in Armagnac wine country and drained by the Osse river, Larressingle is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, the association recognising France's most distinguished villages.
