Lac-Bouchette
Lac-Bouchette · Canada
Home to the Ermitage Saint-Antoine, one of Quebec's four national pilgrimage sites, Lac-Bouchette is a tiny lakeside village in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, sitting on the eastern shore of the lake that shares its name. Both the village and the lake honour Joseph Bouchette, Surveyor General of Lower Canada in the early 19th century. The surrounding area includes the communities of Lac-des-Commissaires and Lizote.
