This small waterfront town on the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro's Herceg Novi municipality, Kumbor sits within mountain terrain and serves as a tourist stop on the Herceg Novi riviera. Its name derives from the Italian word *conborgo*, meaning suburb, reflecting its historical position near the old town of Stoli. The wider region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites, and the town is a short distance from Herceg Novi itself.
