One of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast, Budva is Montenegro's busiest coastal resort, built around a well-preserved medieval walled city and sandy beaches backed by mountain terrain. The town's walkable centre has a dense food, drink, and nightlife scene, and the surrounding Budva Riviera draws the bulk of the country's tourism. UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within reach in the wider region.
