This pocket-sized Lake District market town on the shores of Derwentwater, Keswick has been a holiday destination for more than 150 years and packs a strong café and restaurant scene into its heritage-dense centre. The town's association with Lake Poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey helped make the surrounding mountain scenery famous, and the area now sits within a UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
