A farming town on the Euphrates in Iraq's Al Anbar Governorate, Hadithah sits alongside Buhayrat al Qadisiyyah, an artificial lake formed by the Haditha Dam — the largest hydroelectric facility in Iraq. The town stretches along the river and is surrounded by agricultural land, with road connections reaching into Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
