Favoriten
Austria
Vienna's 10th district, Favoriten sits south of the city's historic core with a dense café and restaurant scene, many historic churches, and a heritage-rich streetscape of residential and civic architecture. The district takes its name from the Favorita, a semi-baroque palace complex now operating as the Theresianum school in a neighbouring district. Large parks and recreational areas break up the urban fabric, and the wider region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
