Einbeck

Bock beer takes its name from this former Hanseatic town in southern Lower Saxony, where a brewing tradition centuries old still defines the local identity. The compact centre is lined with more than 150 late-medieval half-timbered buildings, making it a stop on the German Timber-Frame Road.
