Dujail, a town in Iraq's Saladin Governorate north of Baghdad, is known for its orchards and fertile agricultural land, where orange, pomegranate, and grape cultivation has long shaped the local economy. The town also carries a heavy historical record: the 1982 Dujail Massacre, in which over a hundred people died, became a landmark case in the later trial of Saddam Hussein.
