Dongelberg
Belgium
This small Walloon village in Belgian Brabant sits at the confluence of the Orbais and the Grote Gete rivers, and carries a concentration of historic churches unusual for a settlement of its size. Once an independent municipality until 1977, Dongelberg is now a district of Jodoigne, and its name — meaning "dark mountain" — hints at the modest but distinctive landscape of Walloon Brabant surrounding it.
