Thailand
Damnoen Saduak, a town in Ratchaburi province in western Thailand, is best known for its floating market, held daily until noon on the canal that gives the district its name. That canal, Khlong Damnoen Saduak, was established in 1866 at the initiative of King Rama IV, and the market that grew along it has since become one of the most visited in the country.
