Charcenne

Haute-Saône · France

A small hamlet in eastern France's Haute-Saône, Charcenne sits alongside the Colombine stream at the foot of the Monts de Gy, with mountain views and wine-country surroundings. The Domaine Viticole Guillaume has operated here since 1732, and the Fromagerie Milleret has produced cheese in the village since 1921. Two chapels — Notre-Dame de Leffond and the cemetery chapel — are both listed as historic monuments.
