Bonifacio

Modest commune at the southern tip of Corsica with an unusual concentration of cafés, restaurants, and churches for its size, and scenic viewpoints that make it a frequently photographed destination. Guy de Maupassant set his short story "A Vendetta" here, and the town sits within walking distance of the water with mountains close by.
