Hautes-Pyrénées · France
This mountain village in the Hautes-Pyrénées, formed in 1973 from the merger of Arrens and Marsous, sitting alongside the Gave d'Azun river within the Pyrénées National Park. The surrounding terrain rises toward the peaks of the Balaïtous massif, and the village retains several old stone houses from its former days as a linen and hemp-growing centre, along with a 15th-century church.
