Compact Andalusian town on the northern edge of the Sierra de Grazalema natural park, Algodonales sits on the slopes of the Sierra de Líjar between two rivers and a large reservoir, with mountain terrain and scenic surrounds on all sides. It forms part of the Pueblos Blancos route and serves as a base for rural and adventure tourism, with a pocket-sized central core of cafés and restaurants.
