Valera

Known as "the City of Seven Hills," Valera is the most commercially active city in Venezuela's Trujillo State, set in a mountain valley between the Momboy and Motatán rivers in the western Andes. The surrounding landscape includes the Valle del Momboy, a highland valley that rises well above the city. Valera hosts several universities and draws a mix of Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Colombian, and Spanish communities.
