Torzhok

Torzhok, a town in Russia's Tver Oblast on the Tvertsa River, has been known for its goldwork embroidery folk craft for centuries and retains a compact centre dense with churches and architectural monuments from the 17th to 19th centuries, including the Borisoglebsky and Voskresensky monasteries.
