Founded in the 12th century as a silver and later lead mining settlement, Stříbro is a compact town in the Plzeň Region of Czechia, set on the Mže River in the Plasy Uplands. Its historic centre, anchored by a Gothic-Renaissance bridge, is protected as an urban monument zone. The town also sits within reach of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region.
