This Slovak village in the Revúca District carries a modest but real historic record: a Romanesque rotunda, a classicist Lutheran church, and the ruins of a small castle. Šivetice was once known for its ceramics tradition, and the wider Banská Bystrica Region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
