Trøndelag/Trööndelage · Norway
A pocket-sized coastal town on the island of Inner-Vikna in Norway's Trøndelag region, Rørvik sits within the Vikna archipelago and is home to the Norwegian Coastal Museum, whose Norveg building was designed by architect Guðmundur Jónsson. The town also supports maritime education through a dedicated vocational school and a safety training centre for seafarers. Rørvik Church, replacing an earlier building lost to fire in 2012, was consecrated in 2019.
