This little town in northeastern Bulgaria's Varna Province, Provadia sits in a deep karst gorge along the Provadiya River and is known for its salty mineral waters, mild climate, and roughly 70 kilometres of caves in the surrounding rock walls. The Black Sea coast is nearby, and the town has a small central core with cafés and restaurants. Train and bus connections link it to both Sofia and Varna.
