Home to the world's oldest preserved radio transmitting installation, Nauen is a small Brandenburg town in the Havelland district west of Berlin. Its early 20th-century pioneering work in radio technology earned it the nickname "Funkstadt" — Radio City. The compact centre has a concentration of cafés and restaurants, and the town belongs to the Brandenburg working group of towns with historic cores.
