Moulay Abdallah

This small coastal town in Morocco's El Jadida Province hosts one of the country's largest annual moussems, the Mawsim of Moulay Abdallah Amghar, held each summer. The town also contains what is described as the largest thermal power station in Africa and the Middle East. It sits within El Jadida Province, a short drive from the Atlantic coast and within reach of the wider region's UNESCO-listed heritage.
