Minervino Murge
Barletta-Andria-Trani · Italy
Known locally as the "Balcone delle Puglie" (Balcony of Puglia) for its elevated position on the western flank of the Murgia Barese mountain chain, Minervino Murge is a tiny Apulian town with many historic churches for its size and a photogenic hilltop profile. It lies largely within the Alta Murgia National Park, and its agricultural economy is shaped by the area's karstic geology, producing grapes, olives, wheat, and almonds.
