A surf and beach resort town on Peru's northwestern Pacific coast, Máncora draws visitors with turquoise water, consistent waves, and a café and restaurant scene dense for its size. The Pan-American Highway runs through as the main street, and the town sits within a stretch of coast that includes Punta Sal, Cabo Blanco, and Las Pocitas. During holidays it shifts into a lively party atmosphere, with bars running loud through the night.
