Walkable town in Chile's Maule Region with a centre full of cafés, restaurants, and historic churches, Linares sits in the fertile Central Valley within sight of the mountains. Founded officially as Villa San Ambrosio de Linares, it serves as the provincial capital and a hub for agriculture and services in the region, a short drive south of Talca.
