Chile Limache

Limache

Limache · Chile

A town in Chile's Valparaíso Region with a walkable centre and a café and restaurant scene, Limache is known nationally for its tomato production and for the annual festival of its patron saint, the Virgin of the 40 Hours. The commune is unusual in having two distinct urban areas — San Francisco de Limache and Limache Viejo — divided by the Pelumpén stream, with mountains close by and the wider region home to a UNESCO World Heritage site.
