This small Tuscan village in the Province of Massa-Carrara that sits within the Tusco-Emilian Apennine National Park and along the Via del Volto Santo pilgrimage route. The surrounding upland terrain offers scenic views, and the village holds several historic churches for its size. In 1933 it added "Nardi" to its name in honour of two local patriots, Anacarsi and Biagio Nardi, natives of the nearby hamlet of Apella.
