Mountain spa and ski resort in the Swiss canton of Valais, Leukerbad is best known for its thermal springs, which reach temperatures of up to 51°C, and the mountain scenery surrounding it. The village sits at high elevation and draws visitors year-round for both bathing and skiing, with an unusually well-developed café and restaurant scene for a settlement of its size.
