Kharist'vala

Small settlement in Georgia's Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti region, Kharist'vala sits beside the Shaori Reservoir along the Tskibuli–Ambrolauri road, with mountain terrain close by and UNESCO-listed sites in the wider region. It received official settlement status in 1956 and lies within the Nikortsminda community, known for its medieval church.
