Small waterfront town in Phocis, southeastern Greece, Itea sits on the Gulf of Corinth with a café and restaurant scene that is well stocked for its size. It holds the largest port in the Phocis region and serves as the coastal gateway to Amphissa. Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, lies close by in the wider region, making Itea a practical base for visitors to central Greece's most celebrated ancient sanctuary.
