Frantiskovy Lazne

Czechia

A UNESCO World Heritage spa town in West Bohemia, Františkovy Lázně (also known by its German name Franzensbad) forms part of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle alongside Karlovy Vary and Mariánské Lázně. Its well-preserved centre, protected as an urban monument reservation since 1992, is lined with Classicist, Empire, and Historicist architecture, and the town's natural springs contributed to its 2021 UNESCO inscription under the "Great Spa Towns of Europe" designation. A real café and restaurant scene rounds out the offer for a town of its size.
