One of the oldest coastal resort towns in the Netherlands, Domburg sits on the North Sea coast of Walcheren in the province of Zeeland, with beaches, dunes, and forest nearby. The village has an unusually dense café and restaurant scene for its size, and the surrounding dune landscape offers scenic viewpoints. It lies a short distance northwest of Middelburg, the provincial capital.
