Cava de' Tirreni

Campanian town between the Lattari and Picentini mountains, Cava de' Tirreni is known for one of the best-preserved porticoed streets in the region, a walkable centre with many historic churches, and a lively café scene. Sitting roughly eight kilometres inland from the Amalfi Coast, it also holds the medieval abbey of La Trinità della Cava, and the wider region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
