Canfranc
Huesca · Spain
Canfranc International railway station, built to carry traffic across the Pyrenees between Spain and France, gave rise to the village of Canfranc Estación in the Aragón Valley of Huesca — and the station remains the main reason to visit this compact Pyrenean municipality. The original village and Canfranc Estación together make up the municipality, set in mountain terrain close to several UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region.
