Buldan district
Denizli · Türkiye
Buldan, a pocket-sized hill town in Turkey's Denizli province, is known across the country for its textile weaving tradition, and the fabric produced here — Buldan bezi — has an international reputation. Set on a hillside surrounded by mountains on three sides, with slopes covered in pomegranates, figs, vines, and blackberries, the district also contains the ancient site of Tripolis of Phrygia at Yenicekent, and Kestane Deresi (Chestnut Stream) is a popular local excursion spot.
