Borculo

This little town in the Achterhoek region of Gelderland, eastern Netherlands, with the Berkel River running through its centre and a compact core of cafés and restaurants along the water. Borculo Castle — known as "the Hof" — gave the town its name and was historically the seat of the Lords of Borculo. The town was an independent municipality until 2005, when it merged into Berkelland.
