A fishing village on the Barents Sea coast of Norway's Varanger Peninsula, Berlevåg is one of the largest fishing settlements in Finnmark, with fish processing plants and a large harbour protected by four breakwaters built between 1913 and 1975. The Hurtigruten coastal express stops here daily, and Kjølnes Lighthouse sits a short distance to the east. The village is also served by its own airport.
